Visualizing your Amal Experience
I have performed various activities such as debates, scouting, volunteering and football competitions in my high school during my school and college days. But when I enrolled myself into CA, I almost missed everything. Whenever I have some time to think, I found that something is missing in my life. I have no time to enjoy with friends due to rigorous curriculum of CA. One of my friends who was recently graduated from Amal recommended me to join Amal.
On first day of Amal we were welcomed with a small gift of Candyland Bisca. Although it was a small gift but it means a lot for me. I also enjoyed the first activity of Amal which was building a marshmallow tower. It was such an enjoying activity that I still remember. We also captured a beautiful picture with the teammates and Program Associate Mai’am Javeria Shoukat at the end of first activity.
Now when reflecting back, I have realized the thing that was missing was moments of joy and happiness. Alhamdulillah now I have fulfilled this and I was awarded with smile distributor award at the end of Fellowship. The thing that amal teaches me how to be happy and enjoy every moment of life. There are always turning points in a persons life and Amal is one of those turning points.It was due to this Fellowship I again started to make debates in Toastmasters Club like I did in my School and College days
